An engineered alloy of oxide minerals created through highly controlled formulation and tempering (high heat + rapid cooling). The process creates non-crystalline (amorphous) particles that resist breakage under stress of high-speed mechanical impact.

We produce our superoxalloys from the byproducts of the mineral wool insulation manufacturing process which are safer, more durable and environmentally friendlier than conventional abrasive products made from coal, copper, glass, and abrasives mined from the earth, like garnet. Our manufacturing process strengthens the abrasive particles into unique configurations, making each blasting particle equally strong across its entire geometry. Because of the reduced fracturing and breakage, our abrasives blast faster all while producing a cleaner surface finish with an enhanced profile for better coating adhesion.
